Plant Details

Height: 16-20"
Bloom Time: Early Summer
Bloom Length: 2-4 weeks
Self Reproduction: Corms and seed
Cut Flower: Yes
Dries Well: Yes
Note: When Triteleia Aquarius is done blooming, the flowers will fade, and the stems and leaves will start to wither. The foliage will turn yellow and gradually die back, much like daffodils. This process allows the plant to reabsorb nutrients from the foliage back into the corms, which is essential for the plant's health and next year's bloom. It's best to let the stems and leaves turn yellow and die back naturally before cutting them back. This ensures that the plant has stored enough energy in the corms for future growth and flowering. Once the foliage is fully yellow and withered, you can cut it back to the ground.
